The Giver: Reading Log #11

Yup, it's The Giver again (I'm a lazy reader), but guess what. I actually finished over half the book in less than 2 hours. This may not suprise anyone, but it did suprise me a lot. Normally, it would take a little over a week to finish a novel. This encouraged me to read more books to enjoy them.

I really thought the book was interesting. Jonas (the main character) had the same opinion about his life as soon as he realized the truth about the world. The end of the book really left me hanging. I'm not sure if it was a happy ending or not. 
Louis Lowry said the ending was all up to the readers. I would've made it a happy ending.
