I picked up this book earlier for it had a big shiny golden thingy on it. The man on the cover had an awsome beard. Also, my 6th grade teacher read this to us before, but me being me, I don't listen.
I read a little snippet of it. The first chapter almost tells me everything about the setting. I kept thinking to myself as I read- HOW CAN YOU LIVE A LIFE LIKE THIS!!! Everyone in the book
talked so perfectly. Their ways of life just creep me out. If I lived in there, I'd want to be "released". They'll feel bad for me, but I'll be happy. Here's my summary on the setting- they're a cult.
It could change though. It said on the back of the book that Jonas (the protagonist) learns "the truth".
